The Minister of Commerce and Industry for both the Iraqi and Kurdistan Regional Governments recently paid a visit to the Sulaimani Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Nawzad Ghafoor, President of Sulaimani Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with members of the Administrative Council, warmly welcomed Mr. (Ather David Salman) from the Iraqi Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and Mr. Kamal Mosul, Minister of Commerce and Industry for the Kurdistan Region.
During the visit, an extensive meeting took place, addressing the challenges and impediments hindering the growth of trade and industry in Iraq. The discussion emphasized the need for the Iraqi government’s support in streamlining industrial operations across the nation and promoting increased trade collaboration between the region and southern Iraqi cities.
