Aiming at better commercial relations with Slemani, an American delegation led by the consulate general visited the chamber.
Mr. Irvin Hicks JR. and his diplomatic colleagues were welcomed by the president of the chamber and his top aides. Both sides expressed their will to promote the trade process, especially with Slemani governorate providing great basis for business promotion.
Mr. Hicks suggested that the chamber should create better connections with the various US chambers. The host also illustrated important advances achieved by The Slemani Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Promoting the banking system in Kurdistan was sought during the meeting.
