The President of the Sulaymaniyah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nawzad Ghafour Karim, recently met with the Canadian consulate in Erbil to bolster trade ties between the Kurdistan Region and Canada.
Accompanied by members of the Union of Chambers of Commerce in Erbil, and Obaid Ahmed، Kazyw Kawa, Mr. Nawzad highlighted the primary agenda of the meeting: reinforcing trade and economic relations and encouraging Canadian companies to invest in the Kurdistan Region.
Mr. Nawzad emphasized the safety of the region and invited Canadian companies to participate in the annual International Exhibition in Sulaymaniyah. He urged the Canadian Embassy in Erbil to streamline the participation of businessmen in Canada’s exhibitions, aiming to foster a more profound understanding of business and industry collaboration between the two regions.
