The chief of the chamber asked the regional government to sell US Dollar to the traders at the rate of 1,470 ID, similar to how the federal government deals with businessmen, as this step will put a limit to the price-hike in Kurdistan.
“Otherwise the Kurdistani traders will be obliged to bring in their goods from the other border points, a step that will hurt th commercial reputation of the region” said Sirwan Muhammad.
Dr. Briar Rashid, the member of trade committee of Iraqi Parliament, attended the meeting held in Slemani Chamber supported these demands and promised to talk with TBI bank and concerned officials in Baghdad.
