A high-level delegation, mostly Kurds, visited from Turkey to represent several companies from the neighboring country.
They affirmed that the purpose of the visit is strengthen commercial, agricultural and touristic ties, and to put political issues aside.
Nawzad Ghafur, the vice president of the chamber, welcomed them and told them that they are at the right place, as his chamber is the most active commercial unit in the entirety of Iraq, with the greatest storing capacity in the country. He suggested that the Turkish companies should open branches in Slemani.
